Berry Park is the official bar, restaurant and football viewing establishment of The World Soccer Project's adult soccer league and soccer pick-up groups in Brooklyn.
The World Soccer Project (WSP) is running its first Brooklyn-based league just around the corner from Berry Park at the new turf field in Bushwick Inlet Park (Kent Avenue and North 9th Street). Please see www.TheWorldSoccerProject.com for information about registration for this league and also for information about where you can join a WSP pick-up soccer group.
Berry Park is proud to be a part of WSP's cause - to improve sports facilities and to provide soccer programming in New York City's underfunded schools: When you wear your team's World Soccer Project jersey at Berry Park, one dollar from every beer you buy goes directly to New York City's Fund for Public Schools, which is working with WSP to improve opportunities for disadvantaged youth to participate in sports.
